Detailed description of project
The project supports the Tax Authority of Mozambique (AT) to modernise their organisation, business processes and related ICT. In addition to the business process redesign, a substantial part of the projects is the implementation of standard ICT products, which replace the existing legacy applications.
The project is part of AT's quest for further professionalising AT and to realise its strategic objectives, developing a modern legitimate and cost efficient tax collection and to improve the climate for investments to be done by local and international companies. The project is funded by various donors who support the tax administration's development as part of country's diminishing reliance on donor assistance.
